te kAHUI AMOKURA

Te Kāhui Amokura advances and promotes the collective interests of New Zealand’s universities to improve outcomes for Māori university students (tauira), Māori university staff and Māori scholarship. Te Kāhui Amokura was officially formed in 2004 and comprises the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Māori from each university.

Universities New Zealand Te Pōkai Tara is the sector voice for all eight universities, representing their collective views nationally and internationally, championing the quality education they deliver, and the important contribution they make to New Zealand -  economically, socially and culturally.
